Just attended my ex-colleague's wedding on Tuesday at the Grand Hyatt. The decor was fantastic but there were two pillars in the middle of the ballroom that more or less ruined the event for those who were blocked by the pillars. But on the bright side, the food was good. :) In any case, I learnt that another one of my ex-colleague will also be getting married next year. That brings the tally of known weddings occurring next year to four - once again proof that I'm getting old...
Met up with Gerard from Fuse Concept earlier this evening. Once again, he has managed to impress. Still, the quotation remains on the high side. When we asked for a discount, the "discount" he worked out was less than 2% - not exactly very enticing. I guess the upside will be that we will not need to cater for too much additional costs along the way.
Right now, it's really down to him and Darren from Aranus. We'll be meeting Darren for the first time on Monday and I can't wait to see how it'll turn out. We're suppose to meet Vera from ReztNRelax tomorrow morning as well, but we're less than enthused about it. In fact, we're hoping to get it over and done with! I seriously doubt she can produce anything convincing. We'll see...
Tomorrow is Cheri's sister will be performing her wedding customary vows. Good preview for me. :) |
