Baby, daddy is in Pune now... Wondering if you even know that he's gone... Do you know that only mummy is sleeping with you now? Do you know why daddy is not the one feeding you your milk in the morning? Do you know why daddy is not playing with you at night? Will you smile at daddy when he finally comes back to see you again?
I'll be here for two weeks and I missed you so badly the moment your mummy drove off... I'm looking at your photos and watching your videos and I wish so much that I could be there watching you sleep... I close my eyes and I can see you lying on my thighs while trying to grab pooh bear's nose to suck... I can see you so clearly but yet you're so far away...
I can't wait for these two weeks to fly back... I miss you and your mummy so much... |

Baby, you're 5 months old already!
You've had your first taste of meat... and durian, honeydew, papaya, red bean...
You've had your first tooth poking out of your gums now... and you're drooling all too often now...
You've flipped over from your back... though only from your right side at the moment...
You've had rice cereal mixed in your milk... and you seem to love it...
You've been hankering after food... drooling and watching us whenever we eat... hands reaching out for any food that happens to come near you...
You've been very determined not to drink milk when you're not interested to... shutting your mouth tightly and struggling wildly if we should try to feed you...
You've also been very determined to get your milk when you want it... crying angrily if we remove the milk bottle from your sight...
You've been sleeping throughout the night from about 9.30pm to 6.30am daily... though you've been plotting recently to sleep on mummy and daddy's bed by crying in the middle of the night... and stopping once we lay you down on your very own spot on the bed between us...
You've been laughing and crying and shouting and making a lot of funny noises...
You've been bringing lots of joy and smiles to your mummy and daddy's lives...
You've been the one thing that makes it all worthwhile now...
