Wedding Dinner@Lion City
Posted at Thursday, October 19, 2006
The past week simply flew by... Went to Vietnam for a business trip last Thursday and came back on Saturday. Attended Cheri's sister's wedding dinner on Sunday at Lion City. Then flew to Bangkok for a customer site vist on Monday night and came back on Tuesday morning. Went to survey our new home with Darren on Tuesday evening. Watched The Departed on Wednesday evening. That about sums it all up.

In between, we also managed to squeeze in some time to visit some stores to figure out which home appliances to get for our new home. We're mainly looking at the big-ticket items for now, i.e. fridge, cooker hob & hood, oven, washing machine & dryer and aircon. We're having a hard time as there are simply too many choices! Right now, we've managed to wither down our choices to a couple of brands. Gonna have to research online a little more and visit a couple more showrooms to narrow down our list further. This is even more difficult than finding an ID!

Cheri's sister wedding event was definitely unique in many ways. But I guess the most important thing is that she and her husband are officially married now and we both wish them all the best!

Also have to say a Big thanks to a good friend of mine, Daniel Chew, for helping to take tons of fantastic photographs during the dinner. I'm glad I've already booked him for my ROM before he contemplates turning pro.. hehe

Well, everyone already knows that The Departed is the Hollywood remake of Infernal Affairs - And I think it's a darn good remake indeed. Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg were simply fantastic!

This weekend, Cheri and I are going to attend a four day seminar on options trading. I truly can't wait for it. It's about time we took charge of our financial lives. :)
