Well it's time to write about happy stuff! Happy but damaging to the pockets stuff .
We finally got to see our photos last Saturday. We were both rather stunned when our coordinator Ann brought out a huge stack of photos and told us that the stack only contained the outdoor shots. It looked like it was gonna be a long long day...
But well, we managed to eliminate more than half of the photos pretty quickly. After the first cut, we were left with 169 photos. At $80 a pop, that was far too damaging to our health - both financially and physically!
So we looked harder and filtered it down to 111. After some haggling and reluctant discarding of more photos, we managed to get a pretty reasonable price, so much so that we decided to keep all the 111 photos in the end. Funny thing is that after a final count, it was actually 113, so we kinda got 2 photos free. It's not much, but it's one of those small irrational things that makes one feel better...
The photos were really fantastic - they turned out to be more beautiful than we thought possible. The photos simply left us really impressed with the photographer Bryan. At least there won't be as much photoshopping required. :p
One more item down. A thousand little items to go. Thank god we hired a wedding planner! |
