Carpenters of the non-singing type |

Just had a marathon discussion session with our ID Darren yesterday. Let's see, we met him in his office at around 7.30pm and we left at 1.45am. About 6 hours, discounting the break for dinner at 10pm. Ah, an ID's life is a tough life. And to think I was complaining about my job in the past. I had it easy indeed. :p
We've managed to settle all the designs for the carpentry and also selected the colours for our walls and laminate. I can almost picture the place in my mind now. hmm, it's certainly going to be worth the wait.
With a fair amount of luck, we should be able to move all our furniture in on the 10th Feb. That gives us a week or two to tidy up and get ready for our house-warming on the 4th Mar. Gonna be a hectic February.
Then again, March isn't going to be much better. We've got our ROM & house-warming on the 4th Mar. Then we've got our bridal outdoor photoshoot on the 18th Mar. And in between, there's probably going to be tons of other things to do! Things are really starting to roll now...
On Saturday, we headed down to Tangs to get our Corelle tableware. In the end, we bought a vacuum cleaner, an iron and rice cooker as well. The vacuum cleaner is a hefty investment - it's a Dyson. Gonna have to use it often to make the most of it! |
