The Sofa.... is finally here... Cheri waited at home from 3pm... Tick Tock... 6pm... they were still not here.. Rung them up three times before they finally apologised and rescheduled the delivery to after 8.30pm.... Tick Tock... 8.30pm... they were still not here... 9.30pm... The driver finally called to let me know that he'll be reaching around 10.30pm.. Tick Tock.. 10.30pm.. they were still not here... 11.15pm... The door bell rings...
Gotta pity those fellas... Delivering stuff in the dead of the night... Hope they are compensated well with OT...
Anyway, it was a sofa worth waiting for. Finally, our home looks complete... Baring the delivery of the fridge, we're all comfy and settled down now.
We rented some DVDs and we're gonna watch it over the CNY holidays... Outta go shopping for popcorn and chips to complete the experience! :p
Hmm.. Lotsa of washing, mopping, drying these two weeks... I wonder what the utilities bill will be like.. |
